Daily Routine

Sometimes it makes it easier to have some kind of routine when starting or running a business. Here is my routine, it's by no means complete, and needs to be adjusted to suit your work style and free time. It's an example and works okay for me :)

  • Log into Owner's Business Center (OBC), check for Private Messages and answer them. Then scan through any changes to Admin / Owner Announcements. I then go to 'Need Help?' to see if I can help anyone. I also review the rest of the topics.
  • I log out of OBC, load up my email client. (Even though I am logged out of OBC I get a email when someone PM's me) I then check for any emails that need answering and also for any payments received.
  • I log into my Online Business Alliance (OBA) back office and access the 'Check Daily' menu and go to 'were you paid' to make sure my payments match my team. I then go back to the 'Check Daily' menu and click 'progress tracker' and check to see were my team are. I email anyone I feel may need support. (i.e. if they are still at number 4 etc. of the progress tracker and not progressing through the steps.)
  • Using the methods mentioned in the OBA Traffic Guide I start to surf my days TE's for around 45 minutes to an hour.
  • I then repeat the whole process, answer messages and emails and work on obanow.info (this site) or my other site obanow.com!

This 'routine' takes around 2-3 hours a day. I try to follow this each day when I am not working my primary JOB. Make sure that you get up and move around for a little while every hour. You will fell much better. You can make it as long or as short as you like, you can make this a 30 minute routine… but I strongly recommend you fit in as much of this as possible, and as I said earlier there is no set rules.  Always remember :

Making money is short-term and the income stops when you stop working. Building a successful business is long-term and your income can continue long after you stop working. Making money is something that you can do alone. Building a successful business requires the participation and cooperation of other people.
